CONCEPT
Initial Design Consult
Once we receive your initial inquiry, we will explore your vision for the property by posing a series of questions.
If you do not have existing plans, this is where the design process begins. These inquiries will cover your size and usage requirements, any overlays or easements on your land, and the design concepts you wish to incorporate.
We will explore your preferences for your new pool and landscaping requirements, grasp your lifestyle, family lifestyle, and budget. This input will shape a design brief through a joint effort with ideas and sketches. After this first discussion, we will prepare a design concept.
Bayside Pools collaborates closely with your chosen landscape architect or designer to bring your vision to life.

Whilst we don’t create concept plans ourselves, we can make suggestions based on your idea. We work seamlessly alongside industry experts to ensure your pool integrates perfectly with the overall landscape design.
Once your design team has developed concept plans, including elevations, material selections, colour schemes, and equipment recommendations, we’ll review plans with you to ensure every detail aligns with your expectations. ​
Following this, we’ll provide a comprehensive quote for your swimming pool, ready to turn the plans into reality.
Concept Design
Concept Quotation
We will provide you with a preliminary quote, complete with itemized details of construction, materials and equipment for building your new pool, ensuring that all your needs are taken into account. If required, we will arrange a further on-site meeting at your property.
Once you are satisfied with your swimming pool concept design and have accepted the quotation, we will proceed to convert your concept into detailed working drawings with our engineers. Once complete and approved by relevant building surveyors, we will proceed with the build process of commence constructing your new pool.

BUILD PROCESS
Project Management
Constructing a custom concrete pool can vary in timeline to complete, based on your requirements. Generally completion timelines can take 16+ weeks from excavation to final completion.
Following the pool's design phase, engineering plans need to be drafted and permits obtained before construction can commence.
The pool construction process encompasses significant milestones. Our team is committed to guiding you through each stage of the process, from approval of design to final handover with consistent communication.
Once permits have been obtained the structure of your swimming pool can begin. During this initial on-site phase (approximately 2-3 weeks), we commence essential tasks such as marking out the pool, excavating the site, installing the plumbing, securing the steel structure, and pouring the concrete.

Curing
After the concrete spray, your pool requires a curing period of 28 days. During this phase, our team will do a post-spray and pre-tiling inspection. Additionally, we ensure access to the site is secure and that all temporary fencing is in place, and compliant.
Every Bayside Pools design is fully tiled. Timing of completion of your individual tiling requirements varies depending upon the complexity, size and site or your pool. The tiling phase can take up to 3 weeks to complete.
Tiling
Pool Equipment & Fencing
During this stage, we proceed with the installation of your chosen pool equipment (heating, cleaning or solar components).
During this phase of your pool build, we also provide installation of your chosen pool fencing and carry out any agreed landscaping within the pool area.
Once completed, a registered building surveyor conducts an inspection of the pool area and fence to ensure compliance with safety standards. This must be completed prior to the pool being filled with water.
We have now reached the most exciting stage of the project - the handover of your stunning new Bayside Pools pool!
After filling the pool, our team will begin testing and balancing the pool systems to guarantee flawless operation. Additionally, we will schedule a final handover meeting with one of our expert team members, to guide you and demonstrate how to efficiently manage your pool and equipment, getting you ready for your first swim!
